Why we love Trybike
We chose Trybike because it does what a first bike should: it grows with your child, and it lasts. Children start on three wheels while they find their confidence, then, when they're ready, it converts to a two-wheel balance bike in a couple of minutes, with no tools needed. Learning to balance first means many children skip stabilisers altogether when they move on to a pedal bike.
The steel frame, air-filled tyres and adjustable seat make it a bike that gets ridden hard, then passed on to a younger brother, sister or cousin. And if anything ever wears out, every part can be replaced, so it's built to be repaired rather than replaced. Each bike also comes with a sticker sheet, so your child can make it their own.

Trybike FAQs
What age is a Trybike for?
From about 15 months to around 6 years. It's a three-wheel trike from 15 months to about 2½, then a two-wheel balance bike from around 2.
How do I change it from a trike to a balance bike?
It takes a couple of minutes and some tools are needed, and there are full instructions in the box. Most parents switch to two wheels once their child is walking the trike confidently and can put both feet flat on the ground.
Does the Trybike have brakes?
No. Little ones stop with their feet, which is what they naturally do at this age. Handbrakes aren't fitted because young hands can't use them properly yet.
Can it be used outside?
Yes. The steel frame and air-filled tyres are made for pavements, paths and the park. We'd suggest keeping it indoors when it's not being ridden.
What if a part breaks or wears out?
Every Trybike part can be replaced, from tyres to grips. Have a look at our spare parts. Your Trybike also comes with a 2-year warranty, and we look after it here in the UK.
Does my child need a helmet?
We'd always recommend one for riding outdoors. [If stocked: our CoConuts helmets are made by the Trybike team to match the bikes.]
Are you an official Trybike stockist?
Yes. Our parent Company Inside Out Toys is the official UK distributor for Trybike, so you're buying genuine stock with full UK warranty support and spare parts.
